The Blues who finished 10th last season will be hosting West Ham who finished 7th and have already played competitive matches in Europa and a number of West Ham’s new signings are likely to make their first Premier League appearances with the club tonight.

Players like Andre Ayew, Masuaku Arthur and Sofiane Feghouli will all be hoping to make it to the starting 11. West Ham boss Bilic has a number of decisions to make regarding his team but he has confirmed already Payet won't be fully fit to play the whole game while new signings Ayew and Masuaku also need to prove their fitness if they are to make their debuts.

Chelsea on the other hand are unbeaten in their last ten Premier League meetings with West Ham United at Stamford Bridge but West Ham managed to get 4 points from Chelsea last season with a win at home and a draw at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea will be looking to welcome their new French signing N'Golo Kante who will definitely make life hard for Payet on the pitch with his top play and his ability to consciously win balls without giving away free kicks.

Key men to look out for in both sides are Chelsea’s Diego Costa who has scored five goals in seven Premier League appearances in the months of August last season.

West Ham’s key man is the French international Dimitri Payet had a good time at the Euro and had three goals and eight assists in his last twelve Premier League appearances.

Cahill, J. Terry, Azpilicueta, Fàbregas, Oscar, E. Hazard, Pedro, Obi Mikel, N. Matić, and Willian are all available, West Ham will have to choose from W. Reid, J. Collins, C. Kouyaté, A. Carroll, E.
