Premier League: Chelsea stay firm as The Gunners draw points with the Citizens in week eight…

It was a mouthwatering weekend with reverberating results in week eight starting off with the Blues, Chelsea who hosted the former champions, Leicester City which was soundly defeated at the Stanford Bridge 3-0.

The Citizens, Manchester City gladly faced off their opponents, Everton at the Etihad stadium but they could only amount to a 1-1 draw.

The Gunners continued to show charismatic performance against their rival, Swansea City who were gunned down with a 3-2 win at the Emirates stadium.

Tottenham had a chance to lead the table but, the hosts, West Brom left no room for a win but, a hard fought 1-1 draw at the Hawthorns.

Bournemouth highlighted its presence with the most goals of the weekend hammering the guests, Hull City 6-1.

Stock City and West Ham both secured their wins which left Crystal Palace and Sunderland in horror.

Sunday brought in two fixtures starting off with a Watford 1-0 win against Middlesbrough and Sunderland’s mesmerizing 3-1 win against Burnley FC.
