Arsenal Vs West Bromwich

Arsenal have lost their last two games and that’s 6 points out of the picture, Arsenal lost to Everton at Goodison Park and again to Manchester City at Etihad Stadium on Sunday, they now host West Bromwich and who knows, what used to be a black November for the gunners may turn out to be black December now, Arsenal managed to score first in all the games they have lost this season but they fail to maintain their leads, a few influential Arsenal players are still sidelined but I don’t think that’s why they have started losing games, I think the team used a lot of energy in November and Wenger doesn’t seem to be rotating some of his key men to rest a bit and that fatigue is most likely going to affect you in such hurrying fixtures over charismas season, but in this game the home side is largely favorite looking at the results for these two in their last six games, Arsenal has won 4, drew 1 and West Bromwich won only 1 but this West Bromwich side is currently in the 8th position and have been so organized this season and I think the Arsenal game is not over until it’s over, we could see a boxing day surprise coming out of Emirates stadium if West Bromwich manages to take out Arsenal key players like Sanchez but also I guess Arsenal will not allow to lose a third game in row which makes me think a point for these two is likely to satisfy the visitors, Arsenal 1:1 West Bromwich
Watford Vs Crystal Palace

News across the football is about Crystal Palace sacking their manager Allan Pardew after going 11 games with only one win, Watford will be hosting Crystal Palace on boxing day hoping to recover from last weekend’s 1:0 loss against Sunderland that saw them take up the 12th at the moment in the league, Watford also had lost 2:0 to Manchester city just before the Sunderland and hosting Crystal Palace at a such moment sounds fairer for them but it has been the same story for the visitors also, Crystal Palace also lost to Chelsea and Manchester United in their last two games and they will also be looking at this fixture as something they fight and at least get a point, Crystal Palace is currently fighting relegation with the likes of Sunderland, Swansea and Hull city leading from the bottom, my only worry with this Crystal Palace side is the injuries surrounding them at the moment and now playing without a coach, C Benteke, Tomkins, Sako, Flamini and loic Remy are all sidelined, Crystal Palace will try to get a point out of this but I see it very hard given their current situation, they won 2:1 the last time they meet with Watford at home but am going for a draw on this one, Watford 2:2 Crystal Palace
Burnley Vs Middlesbrough

Burnley is currently in 16th position having lost their last two games away to Westham and Tottenham, they will be at home on Boxing day against Middlesbrough that is two positions ahead of them in 14th position on the table, Middlesbrough has had a better run than Burnley having won two, lost two and drew one of their last five games compared to Burnley’s only one win in their last five games and four loses, Burnley wants this game badly but Boxing day is always full of surprises anything can happen either way, Tom Heaton is my best Goal keeper so far this season and if gets a good day out of this game maybe the home side can get a point or even three points out of this but I will go for a point each as well out of this, Burnley 1:1 Middlesbrough
Swansea City Vs West Ham United

Swansea City hosts West Ham United on Boxing Day evening hoping they can leave the relegation zone, but this Swansea side is also still struggling having lost three of their last five and won only two, a win from this game will see them jump to 15 points but not sure if westham will come Liberty Stadium and just allow Swansea to get three point like that, looking at their last five meetings, Swansea has won once drawing three times and WestHam winning twice, it looks an open game with goals flying from both teams, the last five fixtures of Swansea has seen 24 goals scored an average of 4+ in every game, don’t get surprised of my this weekend’s prediction in this fixture, Swansea City 4:2 West Ham United
Leicester City Vs Everton

Leicester City drew 2:2 with Stoke Last weekend a game I thought Leicester City would win but an early red Card for Jamie Vardy and a penalty for Stoke city changed the game, Leicester City had to come from 2 goals down to make it 2:2 in 90 minutes, on the other side Everton suffered a 1:0 loss to Liverpool at Goodison park, Sadio Mane scored liverpools one goal in the 94th minute that enabled Liverpool stay on truck with just 6 points behind table leaders, Everton now has to travel to king power stadium to face the defending champions Leicester a game I think will also be a hard one to decide, Everton managed to win Arsenal before they played Liverpool but I think this Leicester maybe a little with their character of play, of course will still be out after picking a red card in the last game but the like Siliman and Ahmed Musa are available to help this home side get at least a point but am trusting them to win this, Leicester City 2:1 Everton
Chelsea Vs AFC Bournemouth

Chelsea, current table leaders will be at home on Boxing day with 6 points clear behind Liverpool in 2nd position, the blues have managed 11 consecutive wins but also important to note with this Chelsea team, they have won their last three games with 1:0 result and trust me you need those three points irrespective of how you win but also the danger with one goal win is that you are bound to lose those points anytime in the game, you can’t keep winning that way and that’s why I thought Chelsea would drop points last week but they managed another 1:0, am not sure if they will lose points this weekend but its soon, whether against Bournemouth or their next fixture but they are soon losing some points if they can’t score more goals, Bournemouth managed a historical come back over Liverpool when they won 4:3 but also they managed to beat Leicester a week ago and that shows you how dangerous they can be but I don’t think Chelsea will take any chances, I will go for a hard earned win for the home team only if they will be able to score more than once, Chelsea 2:1 AFC Bournemouth
Hull City Vs Manchester City

Hull City is currently the last on the table with only 12 points out of the 17 games played so far, they have conceded the highest goals so far with 22 goals deficit, Hull City will be hosting Manchester City on Boxing which is a little hard time for the hosts to be facing this Man City side at this time, Man city managed to beat Arsenal last weekend 2:1 and that win boosted them into 3rd position behind Liverpool and Chelsea, City’s Aguero is still away but you don’t see any frustration for Manchester city in a such a game, my only worry has been City’s performance away, they were punished by Leicester a few weeks ago in the first 20 minutes when had already conceded 3 goals, I don’t Hull City doing the same unless Manchester City decides to give this game away, but am sure anything is possible on such days, Hull City 1:3 Manchester City
Manchester United Vs Sunderland

Manchester United host Sunderland on Boxing day and it will be the first time former United Coach David Moyes will be returning to theatre of dreams, games with such details involved have always favored the under dogs and in this case Sunderland would be the ones but United has started picking some form from their last 2:0 win against West Bromwich that saw Zlatan Ibrahimovic score twice in 5th and 56th minute, but also they had won Crystal Palace a week ago and this fixture has a lot to prove whether United has stabilized or we still need to wait for Mourinho a little longer to count him in top four spots, I want to think that United has all it takes to win such a game but Sunderland is fighting relegation well knowing that a point out of this would really boost them highly as they plan to begin their premier league second round, Sunderland managed a 1:0 win against Watford last on Sunday and they will be looking to add something to that win which I think it’s possible with players like Jermain Defoe leading the attacking line, I will chose a draw here too, Manchester United 1:1 Sunderland
Liverpool Vs Stoke City

Liverpool will be back at Anifield after playing their last two games away against Middlesbrough and Everton and good enough they got 6 points but they had to wait for 94 minutes to get the only goal in that game at Goodison park, they will be playing at home on Tuesday against Stoke City and it will be the first time the Welsh international Joe Allen will be returning to Anifield ever since he was sold off to Stoke city at the beginning of the season, Stoke city is not an easy win for any team in the league now but they have gone three games without a win, they lost to Arsenal 3:1, drew 0:0 and 2:2 with Southampton and Leicester respectively, they visit Liverpool who are in a relatively better form welcoming Daniel Sturridge and Emre Can from injuries but also the reds will be fighting to maintain a competitive chase against table leaders Chelsea, they are 6 points Chelsea any loss of points at this point will make the gap even more bigger, I see another hard game for Liverpool but the home side is more likely to win, Liverpool 3:0 Stoke City
Southampton Vs Tottenham Hotspur

Southampton host Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night at St. Mary's Stadium hoping to build on their 3:1 win last weekend against Bournemouth, they host Spurs who are just three points ahead of Manchester United and have managed to win their last two games scoring a total of 5 goals in those games, but looking at previous meetings of these two teams, Spurs have won 4 out of their last six games drawn once and lost once to this Southampton side, Spurs currently in 5th position with is just one point behind Arsenal who are in 4th and this makes the stake available high for the visitors to just come here and lose, Southampton seats in second position of the teams with most clean sheets but I doubt if the Spurs game will be one of those, Spurs will fight hard to win but I think Southampton is mature enough to contain them, i see a draw out of this Southampton 1: Tottenham Hotspur
