Manchester United Vs Liverpool

The most anticipated game of the weekend will be played at Old Trafford when Manchester United hosts Liverpool, the first leg of this fixture end 0:0 at Anfield a game you think Liverpool was unlucky to get only one point, they play again this weekend with Liverpool in 2nd position with 44 points and United in 6th position with 39 points, United needs to win to be able to catch up with top four but if Liverpool is going to remain on the trophy hunt they must also not lose points at this level, Liverpool lost points in their last premier league game against Sunderland in the dramatic 2:2 draw but they were lucky table leaders Chelsea lost and that kept their hopes alive, in mid-week again they lost their first leg League cup sem final against Southampton by just one goal, they come into this game with a very unconvincing recent form and this may give united an upper hand into this, United has been on a relatively better form of winning having been able not to concede any goal in their last three games and scored a total of 8 goals in those three games, they host Liverpool who are just welcoming Coutinho from a long injury but also will be without their key attacker Sadio Mnae who is in on national duty in the African Cup of Nations, United Surely looks the favorites to win this but Liverpool has been extraordinary on big teams this season and it may turn out to be surprising to many if the reds come out of this victorious, it will be a hard game but I watched Chelsea getting stopped last weekend and I think United’s winning run might be brought to an end this weekend too, I will go for an away win to keep Liverpool trophy hopes alive, Manchester United 1:2 Liverpool

Tottenham Hotspur Vs West Bromwich

Tottenham Hotspur are in the 3rd position having managed to stop Chelsea in the last game at white hart Lane, Spurs won 2:0 and Chelsea’s 13 win run was brought to an end, they will be hosting WestBromwich on Saturday afternoon hoping to move to 45 points which will definitely close the gap between the them and Liverpool to just one point until Liverpool plays next day, WestBromwich has been interesting this season but I think Spurs is too good at this level and it will take a lot of commitment from any opponent to take them off truck, I will go for a home win in this, Tottenham 3:0 WestBromwich

Burnley Vs Southampton

Burnley hosts Southampton this weekend both teams having failed to win their FA fixtures last weekend, Burnley was away at Sunderland and Southampton visited the championship side Norwich City but both side settled for draws with 0:0 score line at stadium of light home of Sunderland and 2:2 at Carrow Road home of Norwich, they meet in premier league over the weekend Southampton in 10th position and Burnley in 12th Position but with just one point separating the two, Southampton started this seasons campaign well but they have registered mediocre performances of late including a loss of their last premier league game at Everton that ended 3:0, but they displayed an excellent comeback in the their league cup first leg sem finals 1:0 against Liverpool though in week, they would have been indisputably favorites in such a fixture but I think Burnley might want to use this chance to shine as well, I will go for a draw in this, Burnley 1:1 Southampton

HullCity Vs AFCBournemouth

Hull City is fighting relegation and every game that comes their way is played like a world cup final, Hull City managed a 2:0 Win against Swansea in FA to advance to another round but was beaten by Manchester United on Tuesday in their 1st league cup semifinals, they are at home this weekend against Bournemouth that suffered a 3:0 humiliation defeat by the league one table side Mill wall in FA over the weekend, Bournemouth will lose this again with this Hull City side seeing a chance of surviving relegation but it won’t be an easy one, HullCity 2:0 AFCBournemouth.

Sunderland Vs Stoke City

If premier ended like today Sunderland would be relegated, they managed a to get a point against Liverpool with 2:2 score line but got two penalties in that game which is unusual but they were on point in FA cup again when they managed to get a replay against Burnley having had their game end 0:0 too for all, they host Stoke who was beaten 2:0 by championship side Wolves, Stoke had some of their key players rested in the FA fixture and they hope to have most of them return over the weekend against this Sunderland side, it will be a tight game but with a home advantage I want to trust Sunderland to win this if they are to stay in the English top league this season, Sunderland 2:1 Stoke City

Swansea City Vs Arsenal

Swansea has a tight fixture this weekend as they battle it out to try and stay in the English top league, Swansea will be at home this weekend hosting Arsenal who are in 5th position just one point behind Manchester City, Arsenal had to wait for 89th Minute to get a winner against Championship side Preston North End and thanks to the French Man Olivier Giroud for that goal, Arsenal also had Daneil Welbeck return from his long injury and it was a very big boost for this Arsenal side, Playing Swansea will not be easy the fact that they are fighting relegation but still Arsenal looks very good for this, Swansea is on and off, they are promising in one game and totally disappointing in another, am not sure on how they choose to approach this one but they may want to settle for a draw in this and it looks possible by the way this Arsenal side has been playing but it won’t be easy though, Swansea City 2:2 Arsenal

Leicester City Vs Chelsea

Defending Champions Leicester will be at home this week against Chelsea who are currently leading the table but was beaten last weekend after having a superb form of 13 wins in a row, Chelsea lost to Spurs 2:0 and now will have to face Leicester at King power stadium, Leicester hasn’t been so convincing this season but this is a big game and most times even teams you don’t expect to shine will surprisingly show up, Leicester is capable of shining at their home ground or even humiliate their victors but Chelsea having lost their last game it will be hard for them to accept another loss in just a weeks’ time, I see a draw possible out of this but it will depend on how organized the hosts are, if Leicester gets it well Chelsea may even lose all the three points but am giving them a point out of this, Leicester City 1:1 Chelsea

Watford Vs Middlesbrough

Watford will be hoping to make it to 25 points this weekend from 22 points from their 20 games so far played when they host Middlesbrough on Saturday, Watford lost to Stoke City in their last premier league but they have a home advantage this weekend, Middlesbrough on the other hand sits in 16th position and by all means they are not secure from relegation at all with only four points separating them from Sunderland in 18th position, they come into this game aware of what a loss or a win would offer them on table and I think Watford will find this game very hard, I think these two will share the points also but most likely a goalless draw or just a few goals, Watford 0:0 Middlesbrough

West Ham United Vs Crystal Palace

West Ham will be hosting Crystal Palace hoping to recover from 5:0 Manchester City FA humiliations last weekend, they host Crystal Palace who are at the age of joining the relegation zone and any loss at the moment will definitely send them to the last three teams on the table, Crystal Palace also drew their FA game with Bolton Wanderers but they had lost to Swansea 2:1 at home before their FA encounter, Crystal Palace looks to be struggling and this could be the season they get sent back to championship if they can’t much the quality in the league, but here is my only confidence in them, they have managed to secure a manager who understands how this relegation battle is handled, Sam Allardyce has been in this league and has managed to do some good job for many teams fighting relegation, Crystal Palace will be my surprise away win of the weekend but no doubt it will be a bloody game, West Ham United 1:2 Crystal Palace

Everton Vs Manchester City

Another tight fixture this week will be at Goodison Park home of Everton when they host fourth placed Manchester city, Everton has picked up recently ever since they suffered a late stoppage time goal from Liverpool but they suffered again in FA when they were eliminated by Leicester last weekend in a game that ended 2:1 in Favour of the visitors, but with FA Cup out of the picture and not playing in any other completion you think Everton will be very hard to beat going forward, they Host Manchester City who slashed westham 5:0 in FA last week end but had won 2:1 against Burnley before their FA Game, Manchester City is 7 points away from the table leaders and any more loss of points at this level will even push them far from the title contenders, the two settled for a point each in their first leg meeting but I think Manchester City will do everything to win this time, Everton 0:2 Manchester City
