ARSENAL Vs LEICESTER CITY

Premier League is Back after close to three months of darkness in the world of football, we are back at it again starting with Arsenal and Leicester on Friday night, both teams could be lucky or unlucky depending on what the result of that game will be but I think Arsenal is prepared to make a statement this season and yes, they are lucky to be the openers of this seasons premier league, they start this campaign at home with much more energy having managed to snatch the 26 year old French man Alexandre Lacazette from French side Lyon, Wenger has also worked tirelessly hard to keep the Likes of Sanchez at Emirates despite different big teams showing interest in the midfielder, issue is that Sanchez has not renewed his contract with Arsenal which is ending this season and Arsenal could be in another battle soon again when the mid-season transfer window opens. Important to note also is that Arsenal will be playing in Europa league this season having missed out in the top four positions in the Premier league last season and this does not favor Arsenal at all, the fact that Europa is played on Thursdays which gives them one day to the weekend with travels in mind when they have to play away, Arsenal does not have a large mature and experienced squad with the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on verge of leaving the club but they have one of the most experienced coaches who knows how to play around with his young team and produces results occasionally, but no doubt playing in Europa league is a very huge inconvenience to someone competing for the premier league trophy, I will go for Arsenal to win the opening game. Arsenal 3:1 Leicester City.

WATFORD VS LIVERPOOL

Liverpool’s 2017/2018 English premier league opening game will also be the first early kick off of the season when they travel to Vicarage Road stadium home of Watford, Liverpool finished 4th last season behind Manchester City and Totten ham who finished 3rd and 2nd respectively, the reds are still not sure whether the Brazilian attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho will be at Liverpool this season following Barcelona’s huge offers to the player, the reds have been trying to secure atleast one good defender and a midfielder but Southampton is not about to let their key center back man Virgil van Dijk to leave to Anfield, German side RB Leipzig have also been so tight on the Guinea international Naby keita but Liverpool already has something to celebrate about, they secured Mohamed Salah at the beginning of the transfer window form Italian giants Roma and he has been very impressive in Liverpool’s pre-season tournaments, Watford lost home and away last season to Liverpool with a 6:1 score line at Anfield and it looks like they are going to start from where they ended from, we could see many goals in this again. Watford 1:4 Liverpool.

CHELSEA Vs BURNLEY

Chelsea the premier league champions will have their first premier league game of the season on Saturday evening and they will be playing at home against Burnley, Conte’s dream is to secure another premier title in a row and his opening fixture will be very unfriendly for the visiting team, Chelsea did some good trading in the transfer window and premier league will have new names like Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid and French Man Tiemoue Bakayoko from Monaco, Diego Costa looks like he is already out of Conte’s good books but this may not favor Chelsea at all, they lost the community shield cup to Arsenal last weekend and with Costa out, we wait for Chelsea to prove their worth for another premier league trophy this season, but I will give them a comfortable win on this, Chelsea 3:1 Burnley

BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION Vs MANCHESTER CITY

Manchester City’s opening game will be away as they commence their battle to gain two more positions from their last season’s 3rd position, they will be visiting the newly promoted side Brighton at The American Express Community Stadium on Saturday evening, it’s never a better option to play aside that has a point to prove in their home ground, Brighton's home ground is the 30,750 capacity and you expect it to be full to capacity being their first game in the league, it’s a fixture with a big side but I have a second thought, its possible for Manchester city to lose two points on Saturday evening against Brighton. Manchester City and their Manager Pep Guardiola have a lot to prove with the list of many experienced players they have brought at Eight hard stadium, City got Danilo from Real Madrid, Mendy from Monaco and Kyle walker from Tottenham, losing their first game may also send a bad signal to their fans but also winning is not assured, am yet to see Brighton play in the top league but am not scared of giving them a point in their first game, Brighton 2:2 Manchester city.

MANCHESTER UNITED Vs WEST HAM UNITED

Manchester United’s opening game will be at old Trafford on Sunday evening against westham, the Reds lost 2:1 to Real Madrid in their super cup game mid-week a game that could have suggested a lot on how United’s season could end, they have Lukaku upfront and he will definitely be United’s lead striker this season but he could have scored twice at least in their super cup game, they could also sign Ibrahimović on another short term but also Rashfold is getting better day by day, its Pogba second season and football funs are still expecting some level of class in his football that we are yet to see, he was extremely selfish in the super cup game and that could have costed United that trophy, you can’t say United is good or bad, lets wait for like three or four games and we will get a clear picture of this team, they face westham on Sunday that got Joe hart from Man city and former United Striker Javier Hernández who might give United a hard time, but am backing united to win this one but if they are not keen, we could see a surprise on the first weekend fixture of premier league, United 2:1 Westham
